DOES GOOD DESIGN MATTER?

WHAT HAPPENED TO SPENDING MONEY ON GOOD DESIGN?

DIGITAL NEWS  story done in a semi interactive way.
The images held my interest but the text was boring.
Why is it that good typography is not addressed on the web in news articles?
Images are an interesting way to engage the viewer  but the design is still like a magazine article and all hunkered on the left side of the browser

BEST CHILDREN'S EBOOK YET!! - a shame I don't own an ipad -

Simple interactivity that is connected throughout the page.
Gotta love Flash!
The arrows are a simple tool take works for direction through out the website.
Great graphic illustrations. Simple information that I could read in a snapshot!

BUT a box is a box is a box - think Donald Judd
Forget the bad English - but definitely a good website.
The box as a button is the new trend!
Yes it organizes information.

A great display of statistical information in an accessible way.

THEN THERE IS THE BAD .....
Then I have to agree - BAD!!
I wonder why all reggae website have to have the same colors, same design and 1960's - 70's look.

Gotta Love Barbie (1959  -  Ruth Handler (co-founder of Mattel), whose own daughter was called Barbara.
Girl friendly website that is simple to use interactive & obviously BARBIE

The ultimate Pink shoe, very interactive and simple for the educated runner or young generation that wants the best of everything.

OR a big mac  - (1968 - Jim Delligatti, Pittsburgh)
This British website is trying to make the junk food Jiant become an educated food choice.
What is that about?
Hey it appeals to me - every button I touched didn't select anything.
I think you have to have to understand  sarcasm  - not an American thing?
